Fans of the powerhouse eSport organization Moscow 5 (M5) will be given an early Christmas present as they have just announced a new DoTA 2 team that is more than ready to take on the competitive gaming scene.
M5’s first DoTA 2 team showed great promise when they first started out, but the expectations were not met; complaints about their unprofessional behavior and inconsistencies in tournaments were heard all over the DoTA 2 scene. The International 2 was the one that broke the camel’s back and they were kicked out. Scoring 2-12 in a major DoTA 2 event hosted by Valve and willfully forfeiting the last match will get you that.
Fortunately for M5 and their legion of DoTA 2 fans, the organization has managed to acquire an all-new Russian team, which features well known players such as “Dread.”
The new M5.DoTA2 team
Igor “Nexus” Lisakovskiy (C)
Ilya “STALIANER” Drugov
Vadim “Sedoy” Musorin
Aleksey “BullsEye” Berezin
Andrey “Dread” Golubev
Former member Vladimir “PCG” Anosov was initially offered a contract by M5 but the man who everyone hates or loves decided to form his own team “The Retry”. Airat “Silent” Gaziev meanwhile joined Team Empire. They probably won’t be missed because the new M5 team is 8-0 in the SLTV Starseries Season 3, beating some of the best DoTA 2 teams in the world.
