HLTV.org received a very good news for Counter-Strike 1.6 fans; DreamHack's Romanian partner PGL will not switch to CS:GO.

Despite DH Valencia's recent announcement of abandoning 1.6 and embracing CS: Global Offensive, PGL will remain loyal to their fans and continue on hosting the classing FPS tournament. Big names, as well as 1.6 holdouts, CS legends like Natus Vincere and fnatic will be among the seven of the sixteen teams already confirmed for the event.

DreamHack Bucharest, Romania will be held on October 20-21, with registrations are still ongoing for 1.6 teams. Click here to sign up your team. With Counter-Strike 1.6 tournaments steadily dwindling, DH Bucharest will be a nostalgic and bittersweet event for pro-gamers and fans of the FPS Classic.
