The DoTA 2 Fantasy League will give you a chance to create one team and fill up your roster by drafting real-life professional gamers. Upon signing up using your Steam credentials you will be given an initial D$10,000,000 (DoTA dollars) to spend in snatching up your fantasy players. True to its fantasy sports roots, you will earn points based on your players’ performance. Best of all, you can compete and crush your friends and other people all over the world in a global leaderboard.

The league’s first season will begin along with the start of Valve’s The International, and the group stage will begin of August 26 from Valve’s HQ. But before that tournament begins, you will have time to fill up your team by drafting up to ten players, with a limit of two players per position (1-5) along with two players only from each professional team in the elimination round. When the playoffs start the limit will be increased to 3 per each team. When The International begins, you will be able to rebuild your team after each match day ends.

A player's draft value is based upon his past performances in a given position
