The migration of top teams continues as the Macedonian team ENTiTY has decided to enter the fray and tackle the ever growing competitive gaming scene of Hidden Path and Valve’s newly released Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
CS 1.6 fans of ENTiTY should fear not though, as Ariel “neno” Cekovic has stated they will not completely leave the 1.6 scene. His decision to branch out into CS:GO is based on the fact that more and more events are dropping the CS 1.6 in their roster of games. They will still compete in 1.6 tournaments, but their focus will be more on Global Offensive competitive matchups.
Cekovic’s statement:
"With the lack of CS 1.6 tournaments lately, we've decided to make the switch to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. If the game becomes a hit and gets picked up by event organizers, we'd like to be prepared so that we can compete on the highest level. We are not done with CS 1.6; however, our main focus will be Counter-Strike: Global Offensive from now on."

ENTiTY had a disappointing GAMEGUNE 2012 CS 1.6 tournament, placing just 9-12th in the final standings. The said tournament was topped by Fnatic, a team that has yet to make any full commitments to CSGO as they are still very active in the 1.6 scene.
