How can an e-sports team boost its chances to win a third GSTL Championship, as well as add another monster gamer to their already talent-filled roster? Well hire one of the best Protoss players in the world of course, and that's what SlayerS did.
After leaving team MVP for free agency, Min-Soo “Genius” Jung had been publicly desiring to join a foreign team, like some of his other countrymen. Fortunately for the South Korean-based organization SlayerS, Genius had a change of heart and landed on their lap.
Genius catapulted to e-sports superstardom when he topped the 2010 Blizzcon tournament by beating Loner, considered the best Chinese player at that time. This year, he came in 2nd in the 2012 GSL Code S season 1, and he has already secured his place into next year's iteration.
Genius will be with the following notable SlayerS:
- Alicia
- BoxeR
- Brown
- Cella
- CoCa
- Crank
- Genius
- Lots
- Min
- Miya
- MMA
- Puzzle
- Ryung
- Ven
- YuGiOh
And of course, Kim “Eve” Shee Yoon:
