Rakaka, that esport online gossip mag, has the dibs on what really happened to SK-Gaming's CS division; it is now practically dead.
Anton Budak, coach of the SK's CS team, along with players Robert “RobbaN” Dahlstrom, Patrik “f0rest” Linberg and Christopher “GeT_RiGht” Alesund, have left following the German e-sports organization's decision not to field a team in GameGune. Budak admitted to rakaka that Dahlstrom has already found a job and that the two premier players Alesund and Linberg are no longer part of SK-Gaming. In fact, both of them were seen playing CS: Global Offensive with team Rockstar, that has sometimes fnatic player Richard “Xist” Landstrom. The last tournament Rockstar participated was ESL Go4CSGO cup series the past two weekends.
Johan “face” Klasson and Marcus “Delpan” Larsson's statuses are unknown as this time, but they have not been teaming up with now former teammates' in CS:GO. It may be that they will stay with SK-Gaming for now but with no coach and more and more tournaments dropping CS 1.6 from their line-up, their stay will likely be short.
Budak first came to SK-Gaming in 2007 as the CS coach, and his recent move was prompted when he felt that the team was not the same anymore. He has however received an offer from another team which he will announce in the near future.
