Every sport has its memorable comeback moments: in NBA Basketball, Michael Jordan made a spectacular return to the Chicago Bulls from a two-year retirement to win another three championship rings. In boxing, George Foreman returned to the ring after a decade-long inactivity to win the heavyweight championship belt once again. In the world of e-sports meanwhile, the Spanish team Giants hopes to make a successful return to the Counter-Strike scene with three new members, among them is a player attempting to make his own comeback after a year-long vacation.
Back in April, the Giants announced their return to the still very competitive Counter-Strike 1.6 scene, but their in-game leader back then, Borja "GuMmY" González, suddenly expressed lacked of motivation. Giants’ officials nearly scrapped the idea of reviving its CS 1.6 squad, when they probably had a change of heart and recruited three more members to keep the project alive.
After a year-long sabbatical, Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent, makes a return to the pro-gaming scene by becoming Giants’ new in-game leader. The other two are Adrián "SIOKR" Rodríguez and Óscar "MrT" Rubio.

As of this writing, the Giants’ are not on the list of participants in GameGune, which will be held later this month and in their own country, Spain. But don’t be surprised if the Spanish team decides that event will be their first appearance.
