Some hours ago, Absolute Legends officially announced that there will be changes in their Starcraft 2 line-up: DeathAngel, Naama and BabyKnight will remain with the team and renew their contracts, while Maddelisk will get released.

It has been a turbulent summer it seems for Absolute Legends’ Starcraft 2 (SC2) team, as HongUn recently retired; Maka, Sattini and BabyKnight with their contracts ended this June, and to top it off Kevin "illu" Vandini, team manager, resigned from the team a couple of days ago after a disagreement with the head management.

In an official statement, illu said:

"Today is a sad day for our SC2 Squad, the Head-Management and my Management didn’t agree with the new terms for the upcoming season and we decided not to continue together. I want to thank Ryad and Tim to put their trust in me and my management during these months under eSahara and AL. I am really glad to have been part of this adventure, but I would also like to live new projects from now. I remain open to every single proposition and remain up to discuss them, feel free to contact me. I also want to thank all the players that I had under my management during these 8 months, they are great and I have no doubt they will find another team anytime soon, maybe we will stay together, who knows."

Nevertheless, Absolute Legends still wants to continue with their involvement in the SC2 professional gaming scene it seems, as they decided to offer fresh contracts to Santeri Lahtinen, aka "Naama"; Jon Andersen, aka "Babyknight"; and Andrei Nodea, aka "DeathAngel".

However, AL’s management has decided to drop Madeleine Leander, aka "Maddelisk" from their SC2 team. It’s quite a shame though, since Maddelisk has proven herself a powerful contender in the SC2 competitive scene, with the Femme Fatale SC2 Cup and NESL Iron Lady championships under her belt.
